Camping use
I wanted these for camping i should have bought 4 sets! these are amazing! where we camp at its extremely dark and these light will light up the table quite fine. i was surprised i thought i would have had to wait 6 hours to get a good charge from these, but after three hours they works bright as could be also they come with a rechargeable battery but if you have no sun you can put a regular AA battery in there it works the same
Extremely Pleased
These lights are performing way better than I expected- both in brightness and duration. With a good day's sun, and an 8pm dusk when they automatically come on, they're still running at dawn!
The description mentions requiring a battery, not included; however this is wrong- it is included, and is the 600mAh accumulator battery that stores the charge. And being a standard NiCd pencell, would easily be replaced once its charge cycles were exhausted.
Great Eco friendly way to add holiday festive cheer
I really like this product. I can put it outside and not worry about it at all. It is weather-resisitant (we get a lot of rain, and a bit of snow here) and the lights still worked. If it is a cloudy day, I still got a couple of hours of lit bulbs in the evening when the sun goes down. I have a set from a couple of years ago that is still working. I have two sets of lights on my large azelea bush and it looks great.

More Colors Than Other changing I Puchased For the past year I've owned similar lights that change to 3 colors in the garden. I love them so much; I searched and found these. WOW, I did not know they could be even better than the 3 color lights. The seven are amazing and remind me of the light display here in LA at LAX airport. I have many of the lights and there's always a light display in my night garden.I am actually buying more to "share". I would suggest having at least 3 for best effect.

These are excellent decorative solar lights that would enhance anyones back yard or deck. I have mine on my deck spaced out along 40 feet and it is surely eye candy to watch. The charge they get during the day keeps them glowing all night. I bought mine at Lowes last year for about $17 but I see now that they have about doubled in price since that time. Could be because Moonrays doesn't produce them anymore and they are only available on the secondary market. 02/27/08
Beautiful Lights
I just received mine last week and they are beautiful. They do need to get at least 8 hours of sunlight to work properly though, so you might take this into account when planning out your garden. Also to get the full effect of these gorgeous lights you're going to want to order at least 3-4.
